No Mans Land Fort defies description! An armour plated fort, built in Victorias reign to withstand the battering of Europes greatest guns, it stands guard outside Britains historic naval base of Portsmouth.

HISTORY - No Mans Land Fort was designed in the 1860s to prevent french ironclad warships bombarding the strategic docklans at Portsmouth. In the 1st world war the strategic importance of the English Channel and Portsmouth Harbour caused the role of No Mans Land Fort to be revised in order to cope with the new threat of submarines and battleships with greater firepower. Today as you step onto No Mans Land Fort you are in for a truely special and memorable experience, one to never be forgotton! Accommodation on the fort is the equivialant of 5 star! All guest suites have full ensuite facilities and are furnished to the highest of standards. Set within the forts gun emplacements, each provides exceptional spacious sleeping quaters, all with stunning sea views.

Wandering along the cobbled street under the dome you can stop at the coffee shop or ice cream parlour. Theamed rooms feature artefacts and works of art including the history of concorde and a fort museum. Leaving art, literature and history behind you can take time out in the amusement arcade or snooker room! For dining you are spoilt for choice. With 5 difference bars and 4 seperate eating areas to choose from there is something for everyones tastes.

 

Restaurant - The largest of the dining areas is set for dinner on round tables and is suitable for large parties or formal occasions. The Round House - This dining room is ideal for the business lunch. For Formal Dining - This rooms has a banqueting table for up to 22 guests and the dome can be set for formal or informal dining. The conference / meeting facilities are comprehensive and located in the round house. There are 3 seperate meeting rooms, a business lounge and dining room.
