Forest Park Hotel was originally a vicarage, built on a forest site granted by the crown. It became a hotel in 1902 and apart from being a military hospital in world war I, has remained as a hotel to this day. The hotel is superbly appointed and boasts an all weather tennis court, outdoor heated swimming pool and a log cabin sauna. To compliment this there are excellent riding facilities within the hotels 4 acre grounds and a picturesque country garden to relax in.
All rooms have fabulous forest views or overlook the gardens and swimming pool and the hotel offers a warm and friendly atmosphere. The hotel has 38 comfortable bedrooms and all are ensuite, tastefully appointed with trouser press, hair dryer, colour TV, and tea / coffee making facilities.
